PowerPoint & AI: How to Save Time and Improve the Quality of Your Presentations
Learn how to save a lot of time using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot, while making your presentations sharper.
Also, learn what AI cannot do yet—but what you should be able to do when working in PowerPoint. And as AI improves, you'll still need to know what to prompt to ensure your communication remains sharp and effective.
Description
Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize the way we create presentations—whether it's in idea generation, writing, logical and intuitive structuring of messages, slide design, image and icon generation, etc.
In this course, Mads will provide you with practical advice and examples on how AI can be used right now and here.
At the same time, Mads will show you which techniques in PowerPoint offer the greatest communication improvements, especially considering the time it takes to implement them.
The techniques include working with animations, statistical communication, visual anchoring of structure, and more.
And the key point here is that:
- AI tools cannot yet deliver these techniques.
- Even when AI becomes capable of helping us with these techniques, we will still need to know what to ask AI to do—and why.
After the course, participants will be able to:
- Use ChatGPT to create content, structure, and storytelling for future presentations.
- Use tools like Copilot to streamline the design process.
- Understand the fundamental principles for saving time in presentation preparation with the help of AI.
Hands-on approach
To make the course as hands-on and practical as possible, participants are invited to complete a quick online survey prior to the course, which assesses their knowledge and skills in PowerPoint.
Additionally, all registered participants are encouraged to submit a typical presentation from their daily work to Mads.
Mads will select one presentation from the submissions and, before the webinar, put it through the AI process—working with various techniques that can improve the presentation.
Conditions for submitting cases:
- They must not contain confidential information.
- They must be suitable for uploading into ChatGPT and Copilot by Mads.
- Mads may show before/after examples of the case during the webinar.
Virtual Presentation Skills

Virtual Workshop
Optimize your online presentations and learn how to effectively mitigate the challenges of online meetings.
Description
This workshop will teach you how to effectively address the challenges of online meetings, and there are many.
- One major hurdle is the lack of non-verbal cues. In face-to-face presentations, you can gauge the audience's reactions through their body language, facial expressions, and other non-verbal signals. In virtual meetings, these cues are often limited, making it harder to connect with your audience and adjust your presentation accordingly.
- Then there's the challenge of maintaining engagement. With everyone working from different locations, it's easier for participants to get distracted.
However, there are many tips, tricks, and skills that will differentiate you from the virtual crowd and the average level of online presenting and facilitating.
The program of the course covers:
- Archetypes of meetings & awareness of facilitation tricks
- Best use of MS Teams
- Teams & channels, screen & document sharing, micro-interactions
- Setup of lighting and cameras
- Simulation of online meetings
- Do’s and Don’t’s
- Techniques for interaction with your audience
- Online survey by Convinced – and lessons learned
The course includes interactive elements throughout the day, engaging the audience with online voting and evaluations of different techniques. The focus will not just be on theory and the right slide solutions, but on how it affects the target audience—the participants themselves.
To make the course as relevant and valuable as possible, participants are invited to send a PowerPoint case intended for an online presentation.
Among all the submissions, one case will be selected. The concept is that the participant of the selected case will present the original presentation to the rest of the participants. Afterward, the participant will present an improved “2.0” version of the presentation, which has been enhanced for online presentation by the teacher.
